Task in the Community

At TASK, we are committed to supporting the community.

Our president, founder and CEO, Doug Bellevue, is one of the founders of The Respect Campaign which supports and creates awareness of PTSD with our Canadian veterans and those who have served.

In October 2017, The Trans Canada Monument was inaugurated on Task’s property on the ever so busy Trans Canada Highway.

This is the first monument recognized by Canadian Armed Forces Chief of Defense, that acknowledges PTSD and suicide amongst our military and veterans.

Task has been a supporter of the Otis Grant and Friends Foundation for over a decade. This foundation was founded by former Middle Weight Boxing Champion, Otis Grant. His foundation is dedicated to helping those in need on various levels within the community.

The West Island Palliative Care Residence has been a staple in the West Island Community of Montreal for over 2 decades. Their mission is to provide active and compassionate care in order to comfort and support terminally ill patients and their loved ones and to continue as a leader in palliative care within Quebec and Canada.

We also are a supporter of The Montreal Institute for Palliative Care. The institute is dedicated to advancing palliative care access in Canada through education, knowledge exchange and research.

Another foundation that Task supports is The Saving Station Foundation founded by former NFL player , Alvin Powel. His foundation supports families going through substance crisis.
